Cherry Plum, Sour Cherry + Raspberry

Tasting Notes

The most gorgeous magenta red with the most gorgeous aroma of raspberry sparklers.  Which funnily enough is apt because this wine decided it wanted to be a sparkling wine! Surprise!!

It goes down a darn treat, not too sweet with a pleasant acidity, it's like a well rounded red fruit wine bomb with a lovely little tickle.

Winemaking Notes

This is a blend of two wines.  Sour cherry is made as it's own batch, whereas the cherry plums and raspberries are macerated together and made into a wine.

It's a very small batch (only 30 bottles) due to the poor cherry plum season here at Plum Tree Cottage; a lot of the flowers got nailed by a late frost in 2024.

The wines were blended in May 2025, bottled in July, discovered to be sparkling in November 🫣  released in December!
